Detective Monroe rebuilt the morning minute by minute.
Victoria entered.
Touched the bottle.
Unscrewed it.
But only because she had been instructed to photograph the seal beneath the cap.
She replaced it.
Then left.
Five minutes later, another person entered through the service hall.
The camera had been disabled.
But a reflective panel on the wine refrigerator captured a distorted figure.
Female.
Short.
Wearing staff shoes.
Lily knew immediately.
Marianne Cole.
The Whitmores’ senior housekeeper.
Fifteen years of service.
The woman who organized Noah’s baby shower.
The woman who taught Lily the mansion routine.
The woman Elena trusted with keys to every room.
Marianne had vanished the day after the poisoning.
Nobody noticed because she was supposedly visiting her sick sister.
